Delved, during this 1-month internship, into strategies for optimizing building energy efficiency, focusing on AI and optimization techniques through extensive research. My tasks were focused on searching for articles on urban sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings and presenting the solutions used in different organisms.
During this week, I shadowed the director of innovation at LEYTON, which is an international consulting firm, present in 16 different countries.

During this 3-month internship, I worked on the use of Machine learning for the prediction of different properties of glass. The work done served as a comparison to the experimental results of the researcher I was working with.Ā This internship resulted in the publication of 2 different papers.

In the context of this project, my team worked on the simulation of the airflow in the human lungs, especially in the case of someone with Asthma. We used Python and Matlab to solve Stokes equation in a normal bronchus and the bronchus of an asthmatic person.
The objective of the Biomedical Engineering course was, based on the case of the human lung as an emblematic illustration, to make a first exploration of this field by introducing mathematical, physical and numerical models that make it possible to understand the functioning of living systems, then to study the devices that make it possible to measure the living, to establish diagnoses and, if necessary, to provide therapeutics.
Furthermore, the goals of the project my team and I worked on were, first, gaining an understanding of the behavior of human lungs and specially in the case of asthma, through the modeling of the various physico-chemical phenomena of which they are the seat. Secondly, using Python and Matlab to gain an understanding of the dynamics of the air flow in the lungās bronchus. These tools were used for the visuals that they can give and their precision as well.
